SHAPING FUTURE EDUCATORS

I created the infographic titled “SHAPING FUTURE EDUCATORS” as a major performance task for my professional education course focusing on school culture and organizational leadership. Our instructor challenged us to move away from traditional, text-heavy essays and instead synthesize complex textbook concepts into a visually engaging, easy-to-digest educational resource.

My primary objective with this layout was to clearly map out how three powerful external forces—Community, School Culture, and Organizational Leadership—directly intersect to shape prospective teachers into future leaders. To achieve this, I used structured red callout lines that link a central educator figure directly to the core lesson blocks, visually demonstrating the profound impact these environments have on a teacher’s professional growth.

I intentionally designed the top of the graphic to look like an academic notebook with a spiral binder element, aiming for a clean, professional, yet highly creative aesthetic. By choosing a bold red and neutral color palette, I wanted to ensure the final product felt polished and structured, making it easy for any reader or fellow student to follow the hierarchy of information.

Ultimately, I dedicated the bottom section of the infographic to the definitive career outcomes, highlighting how this holistic development prepares educators for roles as school leaders, managers, and facilitators. Through this project, I wanted to prove to my professor that I fully understood the core tenets of teacher-leadership frameworks while simultaneously demonstrating my digital design and data visualization skills.
